Lebowski’s is a new and supercosy comedy bar in Antwerp. On a regular base, you’ll be able to see up-and-coming international talent bringing some much needed international comedy to a world city like Antwerp during our English Comedy Nights. For this 5th and first edition in 2017 we are delighted to present to you: Bobby Mair and Danny O’Brien to bring over some of their funky fresh material for you.
Bobby Mair not only shares the same native country as Canada’s most infamous export product Justin Bieber, rumour has it they’re actually third cousins! Side note: this rumour might have been started by Bobby himself during his Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Obviously Adopted’. This member of the (albeit extended) Bieberfamily actually also has gathered some name-drop-worthy achievements in his young career already: from appearances on Russell Howard’s Good News, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats to supporting major acts like Bill Burr.
Wikipedia might not be on to this Danny O’Brien yet, as they only mention a journalist, politician and two footballers of the same name at the moment. We think this might rapidly change however, because Danny has been working steadily on a rock-solid comedy career. He started out in the slums that are Dublin pubs including an actual row during his 3rd gig ever with glasses flying mid-air and a personal assault/wrestling match onstage. He is a resident MC at the Dublin based club The Comedy Crunch and will undoubtedly entertain you with funny and recognizable material covering everything from Tinder to eavesdropping in public places.
