Hari Kondabolu is a comedian, writer & podcaster based in Brooklyn, NY. He has been described by The NY Times as “one of the most exciting political comics in stand-up today.” In 2018, his Netflix special “Warn Your Relatives” was released and he was named one of Variety’s Top 10 Comics To Watch. One you can come and watch live in Arenberg Antwerp on December 18! Tickets are available now. Hari was last in Antwerp when he opened for Chris Rock on his European tour in October of 2017 and can’t wait to come back again.
Hari has released two comedy albums, “Waiting for 2042” & “Mainstream American Comic” and has done standup on such shows as The Late Show with David Letterman, Conan, John Oliver’s NY Stand-Up Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. In 2017, his critically acclaimed documentary “The Problem with Apu” was released on truTV. Recently, The Simpsons decided to silently drop the title character Apu. Not to state the obvious, but that seems like an awful lot of coincendence after all those years… Come and watch the mastermind behind this coup live on stage!
A former writer & correspondent on the Chris Rock produced FX TV show “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell,” Hari also co-hosted the podcast “Politically Reactive” with Kamau for 2 years. He currently co-hosts the Kondabolu Brothers podcast with his brother Ashok Kondabolu.
