With Christian Schulte-Loh (GER), Rory O’Hanlon (IRE) and Mårten Andersson (SWE)
Lebowski’s is a new and supercosy comedy bar in Antwerp. On a regular base, you’ll be able to see up-and-coming international talent bringing some much needed international comedy to a world city like Antwerp during our English Comedy Nights. For our April edition we have the pleasure to introduce to 3 comedians, instead of 2 for once: Christian Shulte-Loh, Rory O’Hanlon and Mårten Andersson.
Christian Schulte-Loh has been called the only funny German and takes his jokes on a relentless rundfahrt across mainland Europe and the UK. He has performed in over 20 countries in clubs and festivals and manages to do so in 3 languages: English, German and Spanish. We would kindly you advise you to come check out this more than experienced comedian, but maybe try not to mention the war.
We do hope no one is on to the fact that this turned out to be a ginger comedy night. So we’ll try not to draw attention to the befitting hair colour of our next guest, Rory O’Hanlon. Another disciple of the brewing Dublin comedy scene with an observational style of humour and a joke every 35 seconds. Recently took up the ancient art of yoga, where he learned to hang out with men called Apple and posing as a tree. And in Lebowski’s to tell you all about it.
”The Swede” – or as it says in his passport: Mårten Andersson – is a Swedish two time award winning comedian and TV star. He started doing international stand-up gigs whilst living in London back in 2004 and became the runner up in the ”Best new act of the year” at the legendary Comedy Café in East London. Moving back to Sweden, he put his international career on a hold for a few years but now he is back! He performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and also closed the Belgrade comedy festival just last year.
